Jeff is the ATGA’s only CEO, having been in the position since 2005, shortly after the ATGA was formed. As CEO, Jeff is responsible for all ATGA operations, including the industry exporting requirements of market access, maintenance, promotions of both international and domestic horticultural markets, and overseeing the organisation’s ongoing expansion efforts into emerging markets.
Jeff is the first point of contact for communications to all stakeholders, and is the conduit to relationships with the federal and state government ministers and other relevant government personnel.
During his tenure as CEO, the table grape industry has gained market access to a range of key markets throughout the world and improved access to previously restricted countries. Along with growers he has increased the value of table grape exports from $50M to $623M.
Jeff holds a Master’s Degree in Accounting, is a certified practising accountant (CPA) and registered tax agent (RTA) and has management diplomas in International Business and Business Management. He has previous management experience in education and training and aspires to provide a legacy of a high quality worldwide recognised Australian product.
