Australia is fortunate to have a diverse range of table grape production areas spread from the west coast of Western Australia to Queensland's east coast and from the Tropic of Capricorn to the riverlands of southern Australia. The geographic expanse and diversity in climate and geology across production areas allows an extended season from November through to May.
Clean and Green
Australia is widely acknowledged as a 'clean and green' producer of fruit and vegetables.
Harvest and Handling
Table grapes develop natural sugars as they ripen on the vine, but do not become any sweeter once picked. It is therefore imperative that growers harvest fruit at the optimum maturity to satisfy consumer tastes.
