2011
Chinese officials will visit Australia this season to inspect our local industry; if satisfied with their verification visit the first shipments of Australian grapes are likley to be sent early in 2011. Growers must be registered with the Australian Table Grape Association (ATGA) prior to exporting to China. Further information about the Protocol and Export Access to China can be obtained from the ATGA CEO Mr Jeff Scott on 0350 215718.
The Australian Table Grape Association Inc (ATGA) is the peak industry body representing commercial table grape growers from across the country.
The table grape Industry Advisory Committee (IAC) plays an important role in capturing the expertise of the industry and shaping industry investment.
The ATGA is currently in the process of developing a new strategic plan for 2011-2016. Once drafted the plan will be circulated to grower associations nationally seeking industry input before finalisation and publishing.
