Under a Hort Innovation funded table grape project, the Australian Table Grape Association are collaborating with the Greater Sunraysia Pest Free Area to run a field day all about spraying for fruit fly. The field day will be repeated six times across the region.

This will give growers from Merbein through to Woorinen a chance to see in operation the baiting rigs that growers are using.

Come and see

• practical demonstrations about managing Queensland Fruit Fly

• Local growers will talk about their bait-spray rigs and how they protect their crop

• Organic Crop Protectants (OCP) will demonstrate new bait application technology (SPLAT & the Splatagator)

• Find out the costs of different chemical choices, and about new methods for monitoring.
